Smart TVs are simply those that connect to the internet. If you want to reduce your living room clutter and take advantage of streaming, apps and On Demand services, they’re the way to go. If you subscribe to a paid service though, ensure it’s available on your new TV!
Those other letters mean picture quality. 4K TVs have four times as many pixels as HD models and will give you much better resolution. We have 4K models for less than £300, so they’re worth considering if you’re upgrading.
Curved Screens: Are They Worth it?
Televisions with curved screens are starting to filter down from high-end models to the mass market, with manufacturers claiming they can turn your living room into an IMAX.
We reckon you only get the benefit if you sit dead straight facing the screen, and most living rooms aren’t like that!
