8K televisions hit the market earlier this year, but we are still waiting for content and streaming to catch up with our newfound ability to display media at greater resolutions than ever before. 8K refers to a horizontal resolution of 7680 pixels and a vertical resolution of 4320 pixels, which is around 16 times the pixels found in a 1080p HDTV. In other words, the image will be so clear that you won’t be able to see the pixels.
